Seniors On The Move

When seniors are surveyed about their needs, transportation usually is listed in the top three items. With the projected exponential increases in  the age 65 and older population the need for solid transportation programs continues to increase.  As a result, many  local county aging organizations provide transportation programs to adults 60 and older and for persons with disabilities.

The Colorado State Demographer has projected exponential increases in age 65 and older population in the northwest Colorado region between the years 2010 and 2030. Several of the local county aging organizations have transportation available to adults 60 and older and people with disabilities who are 18 and older.
