Being Generous of Spirit

is a Wonderful Way to Live

Alpine Area Agency on Aging offers a variety of ways to get involved and stay  active in the community.  Our Regional Advisory Council provides the ability to have a voice in senior services, and the many volunteer opportunities allows for sharing assistance with others.  If you have a few hours each month you can make a difference. Check out the opportunities for getting and staying involved below.

Volunteers Make A Difference

Regional Advisory Council

Regional Advisory Committee (RAC)
Oversight, input and guidance for the expenditure of Older Americans Act and State funds administrated by Alpine Area Agency on Aging is provided by the Regional Advisory Council (RAC). The RAC is a volunteer group composed primarily of older citizens from the communities and aging partners. The RAC meets six times a year. The Grant Review Committee of the RAC develops the funding priorities, establishes procedures for the allocation of the Older Americans Act and state funds, and recommends funding awards to the RAC.
