Pitkin County Library
120 N Mill St, Aspen, CO, United States

FRONTLINE follows Atul Gawande as he explores
the relationships doctors have with patients who
are nearing the end of life. Based on Gawande’s
book, Being Mortal, the fi lm investigates the
practice of caring for the dying, and shows how
doctors, himself included, are often remarkably
untrained, ill-suited and uncomfortable talking
about chronic illness and death with their patients.
A facilitated discussion will follow.

Co-sponsored by Alpine Area Agency on Aging, Homecare and Hospice of the Valley, and Pitkin County Senior Services
